Jan Peters (I) - International Appearances

The outstanding Dutch player obtained 31 international caps with his National Team.

He obtained his first 5 caps while playing at the second level. (He was the last ever player to do so while playing at the Dutch second level.)

In match 20, celebrating the 75th anniversary of FIFA, when playing at AZ'67, he played for 33 minutes together with his namesake Jan Peters (from Feyenoord) who had replaced Kees Kist in the 57th minute. Both missed a decisive penalty during the shoot-out: the Feyenoord player missed the 14th penalty with the score at 5-5 (had he scored, the Netherlands would have won) and the AZ'67 player the 20th and final one (with the score at 8-7 to Argentina).

All matches are friendlies unless stated otherwise.
