Copa Simón Bolívar 1970-1983


Tournament organized by Federación Venezolana de Fútbol between 1970 and 1976. The idea was to have a tournament involving the champions of all countries liberated by Simón Bolívar.
Between 1970 and 1973 teams from Colombia and Venezuela participated, in 1975 and 1976 also teams of Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia were included. In 1976 two tournaments were organised (in February/March and November/December).
