Tournament for clubs for East and Central Africa, formerly known as
CECAFA Club Cup.
In Kigali, Rwanda, April 25 to May 9 (postponed from March 28-April 14,
that a previous postponement from December 27, 2003-January 13, 2004,
in order to make the tournament a part of the part of the 10th
anniversary commemorations of the 1994 genocide).
Venue: Amahoro Stadium, Kigali
NB: El-Hilal (Sudan) and Ansaba (Eritrea) withdrew; as both were
scheduled to play in group B, Jamhuri were moved from A to B.
St. George (Ethiopia) also withdrew, shortly before the start
of the tournament, leading to a redistribution of the teams
into two groups of 5 rather than 3 groups.
