Colombia's largest victory in World Cup matches was away, in Buenos Aires 
(Stadium Monumental de Nuñez), against Argentina on 5th September, 1993, 
when 5 goals were scored to the Runner-up of the last World Cup (1990) and 
twice times champions of the world.

Colombia's largest defeats in World Cup matches were 0-6 on 9th March, 1977 
as visitors against Brazil, and 2-7 on 1st August, 1965 Chile smashed the 
Colombians by this result in Santiago.
