Dundalk in the Festival of Britain 1951

The 1951 Festival of Britain was organised to mark the centenary 
of the Great Exhibition of 1851, and as a celebration of post-war 
Britain. As part of the celebrations many foreign football teams
toured in Britain in 1951. This is the record of League of Ireland 
club Dundalk.

07-May-1951	Wrexham         2-0 Dundalk
09-May-1951	Tranmere Rovers 5-0 Dundalk
12-May-1951	Shrewsbury Town 1-2 Dundalk
14-May-1951	Chester City    4-0 Dundalk

Dundalk were based in the Rhyl in north Wales, and played a friendly 
against the local team before returning to Ireland. 

15-May-1951	Rhyl            4-0 Dundalk
