Samuel K. Doe Cup 1986

Also referred to as the West African Friendship and Solidarity Tournament.
The winners trophy itself was the Samuel K. Doe Cup, and the runners-up 
received the Li Xiannian Cup (named after the Chinese president).

The tournament coincided with the 139th anniversary of Liberian independence, 
and the opening of the Samuel K. Doe sports complex (financially aided by 
China).

Held at the Samuel K. Doe sports complex, Monrovia, Liberia.
