NB: The US raised a protest before FIFA arguing Mexico's use of professional players (in both matches, the reinforced 
    Unión de Curtidores club had represented Mexico). Although the FIFA regulations authorized the use of professional 
    players, the Mexican FA did not have the endorsement of the Mexican Olympic Committee, so after several months of 
    dispute, on October 3 Mexico withdrew its team, officially both matches awarded to USA with a score 2-0.
