Inauguration of Estadio San Agustín (Caracas, Venezuela) 1925


This was the most important stadium in the history of Venezolan football because the majority of games in the 1920s and 1930s, was played there, such as the National Championship of Venezuela and Venezuela Cup.

Also foreign guest sides played here, such as Association Ciclista Lima (Peru, 1929), Escuela de Medicina de la Universidad de Santa Fé de Bogotá (Colombia, 1930), Association Ciclista Lima (Peru, 1931), and Atlético Corrales (Paraguay, 1939-40).

As for national tournaments, Venezolan teams like Unión Sport Club, Centro Atético, Dos Caminos, Loyola SC, Litoral FC, Deportivo Venezuela, Deportivo Vasco and others played here.
