SheBelieves Cup (USA, Women Tournament)

Annual tournament held at various venues in the United States.
The first three editions featured the hosts and the top-3 European women sides; in the first two cases these were the teams ranked first (USA), second (Germany), third (France) and fifth (England) in the women's world ranking (Japan were ranked fourth at the time of the first edition, 4 rating points ahead of England, Canada at the time of the second, 1 rating point ahead of England). After both editions, England climbed to fourth place in the ranking. At the time of the third edition, the USA were ranked first, ahead of Germany (second) and England (third), while France were sixth (behind Australia and Canada). After the tournament, England and Germany had swapped places, while France gained one (at the expense of Australia).
The fourth edition saw Japan and Brazil making their first appearance, while Germany and France did not enter. Spain replaced Brazil for the fifth edition. The sixth edition was an all-American affair, after Japan withdrew because of the Covid-19 pandemic and Argentina replaced them, making their first ever appearance at the event together with Canada. The seventh edition was the weakest of all to date, with no top-10 country other than the hosts entering.
