USSR (Soviet Union) - Championship of the Two Capitals

Match between the city champions or cup winners of Petrograd/Leningrad and Moskva; held seven times in eleven years between 1919 and 1929; prior to the establishment of a national club league in 1936, this may be considered as the prime club honour in the Soviet Union.
Note that Petrograd was renamed Leningrad in January 1924.

Since 1928, an annual championship of city selections was held (until 1936), which eventually appears to have replaced the club match.
