founded in October 1920 and obtained F.I.F.A. membership in May 1929.

As part of the festivities in the Koninginneweek around the 50th birthday of
Koningin Wilhelmina (on 31 Aug 1930), both the N.G.V.B. and the S.V.B. had
invited football teams from Georgetown. The guests of the S.V.B. were called
the "British Guiana combined team" while the team received by the N.G.V.B. were
Everton F.C., runners-up of the local Senior League, strengthened with a few
players (R. Davis and W. Mathias were mentioned in the Paramaribo papers) from
other Georgetown clubs.

During their stay in Paramaribo, the B.G.F.A. team arranged additional matches

As part of the festivities around the 50th anniversary of the coronation of
Koningin Wilhelmina (on 31 Aug 1948), the N.G.V.B. had invited the B.G.F.A.
and the K.S.C. (Katholieke Sport Centrale), the catholic federation on the
island of Curaçao, while an S.V.B. selection was touring the Netherlands.
Because of the withdrawal of the Curaçao side (they were unhappy about some
refereeing decisions in their fourth match), their last two matches (against
the B.G.F.A. (6 Sep) and the N.G.V.B. (7 Sep)) were cancelled and the third
and final match for the Amo Amateur Cup was moved forward by one day.
