NB: originally the top-4 were to enter the championship playoff,
    but Valdez considered they should be awarded the title given
    their 4-point lead; the federation insisted they had to enter
    the playoff upon which Valdez withdrew; then the federation
    awarded them the title after all, leading to protests from
    the other clubs, which were then consoled with a tournament
    to determine second place
