[*] Lautoka were awarded the title on Mar 11, 2011, after having a
protest pertaining to their match on May 8, 2010 (sic!) against
Rewa (which finished 1-1) ruled in their favour; on Jul 10, 2011,
this decision was again reversed, considering that the relevant
evidence for awarding the match in question was provided too late
and it had been "inappropriate" to re-open the case, and thus Ba
were awarded the title. Lautoka have appealed this decision; a
ruling may or may not be announded at the BOC meeting on August
    28, 2011...

create a "Super 8" top level but with the season nearly finished that
decision was reversed (it is anyway not clear how they intended to

    counting the U-20 team)

NB: Nadi, who had originally qualified for the semifinals as runners-up of
pool 1 behind Labasa, requested arbitration on the award of the Navua
vs Nadroga match on Oct 11 but the Fiji FA refused to hear this before
the semifinals, in spite of the fact those had already been postponed
by a week due to bad weather on Oct 7 and 8. The Navua vs Nadroga match
had been awarded to Navua for a supposedly ineligible player of Nadroga,
Koshmick Kumar, who had played for a club in California (Sacramento
Combined Brothers Soccer Club) and Nadroga did not have an international
transfer certificate; however, this US club is a non-profit organisation
not affiliated to any regional or national football organisation (in
particular not to the USSF, let alone to FIFA), so it is more than
questionable whether there was any need for such a certificate. Note
that Fiji is the country which managed to lose its own independence
    declaration.
