due to that coup, Real Republicans (dubbed Osagyefo's Own Club or OOC)
were dissolved, as were Sekondi Independence (the club of Ambrose Yankey,
the personal aide of Kwame Nkrumah who was toppled on Feb 24); Defence
Stars (the army team) withdrew as some of their players were soldiers
in active service and involved in the coup.

on how the GFA had handled their coin toss loss in the 1967 African Champions
Cup.
