Dutch East Indies Tour of Loh Hwa 1929

Before arriving in the Dutch East Indies, the touring Loh Hwa side from Shanghai had played one match in Shanghai, beating Portuguese XI 9-0, two matches in Saigon, beating Cercle Sportif 11-1 and Saigon F.A. 4-0, and two in Singapore, beating Malayan Chinese F.A. 1-0 on July 14 and drawing 1-1 with Singapore Europeans on July 18.
Their stay on Java was organised by C.K.T.H., the organisation (committee) in charge of the annual Chinese city matches (which turned into the H.N.V.B. in 1930).
After completing their visit to the Dutch East Indies, Loh Hwa played two more matches in Singapore, defeating the Welch Regiment 3-2 on August 22 and the S.C.F.A. (Singapore Chinese Football Association) 3-1 on August 25.
