The 2000 season is split in 3 parts: first a group-style cup, then the league,
and during the league's summer break, a tournament-style cup.

There will be no more extra time; after each draw there is a penalty shootout
for the point.

Chunan Ilhwa Chunma moved to Seongnam(City) and changed their name to Songnam
Ilhwa Chunma.
  
Pusan Daewoo Royals' sponsors 'Daewoo' wnet bankrupt and 'Hyundai
Industrial Development' bought the team, which is now called Pusan Icons.
