Copa Sul-Minas 2000

Note: The teams from the state of Minas Gerais decided to withdraw from the Copa
Centro-Oeste to a more profitable tournament. Although the state of Minas Gerais
does not have a border with any of the 3 southernmost states, CBF and Clube dos
13 decided to realocate Atlético, Cruzeiro and América to Copa Sul. Hence the
tournament was renamed to Copa Sul-Minas.
